About The Campaign

The land known locally as the “Three Fields” is a historic link between Cowbridge and Llanblethian, in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

The area holds deep and lasting memories for many in the local community - from dog walks and fishing or rafting in the river, to sledging down the hills, and even a proposal or two.

Adrian Griffiths, a local resident, started the campaign with the aim of purchasing the land to protect it from housing development and to ensure that it remains as it is today for the enjoyment of future generations.

Adrian was born in Westgate, Cowbridge, and has been working for the residents of Cowbridge and the surrounding areas for over 30 years as a local builder.

His family have been apart of the Cowbridge community for over 250 years, occupying key roles such as blacksmiths, pub landlords and merchants.

The land has a guide price of £185,000 however due to the nature of an auction this may be far exceeded. Therefore, we are looking to fundraise as much money as possible to give ourselves the best chance of success.

See the FAQ section for more information on how the money will be used.
